How to block specific programs in avast. (17th May 23 at 11:18am UTC)
If avast disabled for specific programs then you can try the steps for blocking the specific features.


Open the avast dashboard
Click the menu section from top right hand corner of the dashboard
Click on the exception to bring the necessary option
Then click the add exception button and type the url or browser for the block you want.By selecting specific programs then you can easily block the specific programs.

Open the Blocked & Allowed Apps Settings page.
Open Avast Antivirus and select Settings from the menu.


Choose Blocked & Allowed apps under General.

The Blocked & approved Apps settings screen displays your list of blocked apps as well as your list of approved apps:

Blocked apps: Blocked apps are never allowed to access your system. When a blocked program tries to access your system, you are not informed.

Apps with permission: Apps with permission always have access to your system. When a permitted application accesses your system, you are not informed.
